AWARD NOTICE

District 128's Community Education Program has been honored by LERN (a leading international associated for community and adult education programs, park district programs, and library programs) in the category for having the best Internet Home Page. The first place award was presented at the 2007 International conference.

LERN has also honored three separate catalog covers for our program over the past two years by placing the covers in LERN'S own national publications as examples of “best” covers of the month.

Partnership
District 128 Community Education staff take great pride in our new partnership with Stevenson High School District 125. This new partnership provides increased educational opportunities to community members in both districts. This partnership offers high quality learning experiences, and is dedicated to providing great educational programming that is fun, convenient, safe, and very affordable.

Online Classes
District 128 Community Education Program offers over 350 online classes on a variety of topics.

Our online classes are offered entirely via the web so that you can work anytime of the day from any location that has Internet access. All you need to register and take on of our online classes is a computer connected to the Internet. Each course runs six weeks and consists of interactive quizzes, assignments, and discussion areas.
