A message from our Superintendent...
Dear Community Members:
It is my pleasure to present you with the District 128 Community Education Program for Fall 2007. Our extensive program offers a wide range of courses that appeal to a variety of interests, including mastering a new language, learning a new craft, enhancing your computer skills and more! From the travel program and on-line courses, to classes for children and their parents, the Community Education Program truly offers something for everyone in our community of lifelong learners.
District 128's Community Education Program is noted for its broad array of course offerings and its quality instructors. Students who participate in the courses come from far beyond our District, from as far away as Chicago and Wisconsin . Knowing that our students' needs and interests are diverse, we continue to expand our offerings as well as the locations at which the courses are taught. Courses are held at both of our high school campuses, in locations throughout our community, and on-line in order to provide a greater variety of times and locations for our increasingly busy adult community.
I encourage you to visit the Community Education website—www.comed128.org—to learn more about the exciting options for adult learners and their families. I hope that you take advantage of our many course offerings for this semester.
David L. Clough, Ph.D.
